This legislative session, Washington Communities for Children (WCFC) is engaging state legislators to highlight the impact of our work and the importance of maintaining WCFC in the state budget. We center lived experience and regional expertise, believing that those closest to the work must have a direct voice in the policies that shape it. Amid rising living costs, workforce shortages, and federal uncertainty, protecting essential services for families and preserving Washington’s progress in early childhood is more important than ever.
