We’re sending a big thank you to everyone who joined us for this year’s Advocacy Day! Almost 50 people from across the state participated in over 40 legislative meetings to advocate for our legislative agenda and supported bills.

"Advocacy Day was such a success for the Southeast Early Learning Coalition. One meeting that stood out was with Senator Dozier of the 16th district. As a member of the Early Learning and K-12 Committee, he was very interested in the work we do as a coalition and the impact we've made on our community. We ended the meeting with his commitment to attend our Early Learning Summit and participate in our coalition's effort to inform the community of the early learning challenges." - Brittany Hartikainen, SELC Regional Co-Lead

“Our meeting with Representative Saldana was amazing! We met with her Legislative Assistant, and they were super excited about WCFC and PCECN’s work, and were thrilled that all of us in the room were women of color. They would like to champion and support anything we have coming up in the future, including our fiscal ask (and if they are unable to champion, they were willing to connect us with a legislator that could!).” - Taylor Caragan, State Health Provider Voice Lead
